Free Community Event: Employers and HR Professionals Responsibilities for Hiring Temporary Foreign Workers
The September 19, 2024, Immigration Practitioner Centre Community Seminar is entitled ‘Employers and HR Professionals Responsibilities for Hiring Temporary Foreign Workers.’
The focus of this Community Seminar is to provide Employers and HR Professional with a basic understanding of the various aspects of hiring temporary foreign workers whether the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or the International Mobility Program.
For the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the speakers will provide explanations related to the Labour Market Impact Assessment Categories; Business Legitimacy; Job Bank Registration; Minimum Advertising; and Violations – Administrative, Monetary, Penalties and Suspensions.
For the International Mobility Program, the speakers will provide explanations related to the Employer Portal Registration, Work Permit Applications Abroad, Port of Entry, and In Canada.
This Community Seminar will feature two speakers who will address the following topics:
Presenter: Al Parsai – RCIC-IRB – LMIA Categories, Business Legitimacy, Processing Time Periods and Fees, Compliance Audits and Violations – Administrative, Monetary, Penalties, and Suspensions;
Presenter: Divya Bakshi Arya – RCIC – Job Bank Registration, Advertising Requirements, Employer Portal Registration, and Types of Work Permits.
