"The Perfect Twist" - Lights Up 2026 Winter Showcase

This winter, our ensemble performance will transport audiences into a magical musical theatre adventure inspired by a Rubik’s Cube and Jumanji! A group of kids discover a mysterious cube that whisks them into the worlds of beloved Broadway musicals—where things aren’t quite as they should be. Imagine the Wicked Witch of the West’s broom missing from Oz, only to be found down the rabbit hole in Wonderland! To restore balance, the kids must journey from world to world, collecting and returning artifacts in a thrilling, music‑filled quest.

 

This exciting presentation will bring together students from four Lights Up schools—Langley, Maple Ridge, Richmond, and South Surrey—in a collaborative showcase of talent and creativity.
